Festive fun with wildlife charity
If the thought of visiting a shopping centre at this time of year gives you a headache, why not visit the Northumberlandia and have some relaxing festive fun with Northumberland Wildlife Trust?
Earlier this year, national land management charity the Land Trust agreed a new joint venture with Northumberland Wildlife Trust to run the Northumberland site and café/visitor centre; so, this December, set against the stunning representation of the reclining lady who is still the World’s largest landform sculpture, the wildlife charity will be hosting two fun packed, festive events:
Christmas Crafts, Saturday 12 December, 2.00pm - 3.30pm, where, for £5.00 (per person) you can sip mulled juice, nibble mince pies and create some festively crafted gifts to take home.
Santa’s Grotto, Saturday 19 & Sunday 20 December, 11:00am - 3:00pm, Come and meet Santa at his Christmas grotto and get a present… but only if you’ve been good.
So, swap bubble bath for bird feeders and perfume for pen holders, have a great time outdoors and support a local wildlife organisation.
