Direct Food Ingredients Gives Duo Sponsorship
Macclesfield Tigers Under-11s Football Club and the Bollington Squash youth team will stay toasty and stylish this Winter thanks to a duo of generous donations from local business, Direct Food Ingredients.
The leading ingredients distributor has signed sponsorship deals with the local sports clubs to provide the young members of each team with jackets and uniform shirts for the upcoming season.
Both sponsorships are already in full swing with the Macclesfield-based company supplying the teams with their new kit additions just in time for the cold Winter months.
Managing Director of Direct Food Ingredients, Steve Loake, said the company is thrilled to be supporting the local youth teams at a grassroots level.
He commented: “As a Macclesfield business, we are proud of our heritage having been here for over 20 years and therefore we are keen to give back to the younger community.
“It has been a pleasure signing these deals with both clubs and we look forward to witnessing their progress and triumphs throughout the year.”
Macclesfield Tigers U11s currently play in the Mid-Cheshire Youth Football League whilst Bollington Squash train at Bollington’s Health and Leisure Centre where they regularly compete on Saturdays.
Manager of Macclesfield Tigers U11s, Martin Blunt, expressed his gratitude for the sponsorship, saying: “We’d like to say a big a thank you to Direct Food Ingredients for their kind donation, the jackets will be extremely helpful during the colder months particularly when travelling to and from matches.”
Chairman at Bollington Squash, Christian Ogden, also said: “We welcome this generous sponsorship with open arms, and are so grateful for the support from such a respected business in our local community.
“The team is excited to don their new shirts for, hopefully, another successful season ahead.”
