Carlton House refurb nears completion
A project to refurbish the last remaining office space at Manchester’s Carlton House is due for completion in the New Year.
The suite, set within the five-storey, grade II-listed building in Albert Square, comprises 3,885 sq ft of space and will be ready in February 2016.
Existing tenants of the 21,684 sq ft Carlton House property include external façade firm Taylor Maxwell, Nexus Solicitors and State Bank of India
Real estate advisory company Colliers International’s Manchester office and commercial real estate firm CBRE are joint agents on the building, acting for landlord Carlton House Group Ltd.
Nicola Hurst, a surveyor with Colliers International, commented: “On completion, this final phase of the comprehensive refurbishment of Carlton House will provide quality office space in a building benefiting from an eclectic mix of Venetian Gothic architecture with great views of Albert Square and we’re anticipating a great deal of interest from potential tenants.”
