Wilmslow firm Venn Digital’s fifth birthday rounds off year of record growth
Digital marketing agency Venn Digital is marking five years in business this week by welcoming its fiftieth member of staff.
The Wilmslow-based company, which also has offices in London and Glasgow, has recruited sales and marketing assistant Lyndsey O’Hagan on the back of a record year that saw its turnover double and headcount increase by 30%.
The firm’s sales team, led by Sarah Toms, has meanwhile seen its inbound leads rise by 75%.
MD Brian Whigham said: “It’s fair to say that the team has smashed any expectations I had when I launched Venn five years ago.
“With the most talented people in the business, we’re now winning work from household name clients who are choosing us over the larger London agencies.”
He added: “We simply couldn’t be in better shape as we head into 2016 and have some very big announcements to make in the New Year. Watch this space!”
Earlier this year, Venn’s southern team relocated to a new office in Farringdon’s tech hub, in the centre of London.
To celebrate its fifth birthday, the company launched a four-day staff holiday to Ibiza and hosted a party for employees and clients at its Wilmslow HQ.
