Plans launched for phase two of £75m Adelphi Wharf development

Property investment firm Knight Knox and Fortis Developments have launched plans for phase two of Adelphi Wharf, the multi-million pound residential scheme in Salford.

The second part of the £75m project, which will be delivered in three phases, will create 163 of the scheme’s 593 units.

Amenities at the 450,000 sq ft development will include bicycle storage facilities, a concierge reception and on-site gym, along with landscaped gardens and underground parking.

Knight Knox’s sales director, Michael Fenlon, said: “The last 12 months have witnessed significant investment into Salford’s regeneration and the city’s development doesn’t show signs of slowing down throughout 2016.

“We’re thrilled to be launching the second phase of this high-quality residential property.”

He added: “It offers valuable opportunities to investors and I’ve no doubt that this phase will echo the sales success of the first.”

Fortis Lettings and Management will run the development.

The firm’s director, Kieran Moore, commented: “Like Phase One, the second phase of this development will incorporate modern architecture along the city’s waterfront, which we’ve worked hard to ensure will complement the local surroundings.

“The riverside walkway will allow residents easy access to the waterfront, so they can enjoy Salford’s landscape with ease.”

Kieran continued: “I expect that Adelphi Wharf will breathe new life into the city’s property scene, which continues to become more and more desirable.”

The work is due for completion in Q3 2017.
