Skipton’s Candelisa announces redevelopment plans on Green’s Mill acquisition
Skipton-based property developer, Candelisa has bought a former mill site in North Yorkshire, for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition of Green’s Mill, off Cononley Lane in Cononley, will redevelop the land into a mixed residential and commercial scheme.
Candelisa says it has job opportunities for the region and will also work with the local community on ideas for the 6.7 acre site.
Guy Taylor, Managing Director of Candelisa, said: “A condition of the purchase is that we fully engage with all interested stakeholders regarding our plans.
“Similarly we are keen to develop the site sympathetically, working within the fabric of the original building and retaining the industrial heritage for future generations.
“The inclusion of commercial space in our long term plans could also create some exciting employment opportunities.”
