Mobile Mini enable Langridge Initiative Centre to grow
The Middlesbrough depot of Mobile Mini, a leading hirer of portable accommodation and secure storage solutions, has provided free of charge storage container hire to Langridge Initiative Centre. This will help the charity create more room to accommodate a new group, which will benefit the community.
Mobile Mini provided the centre with one of its safe and secure, on-site, storage containers to rehouse surplus equipment and archive documents, as part of the company’s Community Involvement Programme-a scheme which offers free of charge storage container hire to non-profit or voluntary organisations. This has allowed the centre to free up much needed office space to welcome another company offering employment within the area.
Dawne McClelland, Mobile Mini Branch Manager commented: “We’re delighted to have provided Langridge Initiative Centre with a solution to their lack of space. The charity brings a lot to the local community and we’re proud that our storage container will allow that to stretch a little further”.
Langridge Initiative Centre Manager, Amanda Buck also commented: “We’re incredibly grateful that Mobile Mini came to our rescue. By offering additional storage, we are able to maximise our existing resources, start income generating and bringing organisations in that are going to offer a wider community benefit.
“Our overall objective is to provide opportunities through free community services, including supporting people into employment, providing a programme of accredited training to gain confidence and offer a range of support services such as debt counselling. The storage container from Mobile Mini has given us more space to achieve our goals.”
Now running at full capacity, the charity predicts a record breaking busy year and hopes to take helping the community to the next level.
