Johnston Press partners with OwnLocal to boost businesses
Johnston Press, one of the largest local and regional multimedia organisations in the UK, has today announced a partnership with OwnLocal, a global technology company that powers automated digital advertising services for local media.
The alliance will boost local businesses by harnessing the power of their existing web presence, extracting data from their print ads and converting this into a bespoke ad solution that will run across Johnston Press’ portfolio, reaching more than 29 million people across the UK.
The partnership also builds on Johnston Press’ existing marketing proposition through the use of OwnLocal’s technology, which delivers more than 1 billion ad impressions per month, enabling the publisher to offer online marketing and digital ads to even the smallest clients.
Jeff Moriarty, Chief Digital and Product Officer at Johnston Press, said, “The combination of our vast local audience and OwnLocal’s pioneering technology enables us to create a unique offering for businesses to bolster their marketing proposition and benefit from the trust placed in local media on a national scale.”
Lloyd Armbrust, CEO of OwnLocal, said, “We look forward to working with Johnston Press, one of the UK’s biggest local publishers, to enable advertisers to climb the Google rankings, and more effectively engage their key audience through the unrivalled power of local media.”
