Sheffield United signs new foreign exchange partnership
Sheffield United Football Club has teamed up with foreign exchange consultancy, International FX, to form a new partnership that will initially run until the end of the 2015-16 season.
International FX (IFX) is one of the globally recognised specialist foreign exchange consultancy, serving a growing spread of corporate and private clients throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Australasia.
Paul Reeves, Sheffield United’s head of commercial, said: “We are delighted to welcome International FX to the Blades commercial family as our very first foreign exchange trading partner.
“The service will be extended to our corporate clients to offer them foreign exchange support to ensure they are getting best value for their business. IFX operate in a vibrant sector and this is another new relationship that we are very excited about.”
Simon Hughes, IFX associate dealing director, added: “We are delighted to be partnering with a club that is full of history and passionate fans. I would also like to take the opportunity to wish the club all the best for this season and beyond, and IFX will look to sustain a long term commercial relationship with the Blades.”
IFX specialise in helping clients minimise the costs of their transactions by providing better quality information and wholesale exchange rates, not typically available through traditional channels.
The new partnership will see IFX branding on new commercial assets at Sheffield United which will be unveiled to supporters at the Sky Sports televised fixture versus Coventry City on Sunday.
