Shower manufacturer Methven establishes new Wigan HQ
Shower and tapware manufacturer Methven has moved its headquarters and showroom to the Methven Experience Centre, its new facility in Golborne, Wigan.
The 5,000 sq ft centre, which is part of a six-figure investment, comprises working wet displays, demonstration areas and a training facility.
The move saw Methven boost its sales team by three, with further appointments planned for the coming months.
Methven UK’s CEO, Martin Walker, said: “This significant level of investment in the business is a new and exciting chapter in our 129-year history.
“Our state-of-the-art experience centre will act as a shop window for customers wanting to experience our patented technology products first hand and gain insight into the business’ design-led ethos.”
He added: “In addition to unveiling a new head office in Golborne, our commitment to investing in our distribution site and sales team is indicative of the successes and growth to date, as well as reflective of our ambitious plans for the future.”
Elsewhere, Methven also made a series of improvements to its distribution centre in Leigh, Greater Manchester, restructuring the layout to boost efficiency, installing new signage and updating its employee uniforms.
