Festive cards designed by children
Brighton Avenue Primary School in Gateshead has partnered with housebuilder Linden Homes for a special Christmas card competition.
Children from each year group produced Christmas inspired pictures with a ‘home’ theme and a winner from each class was chosen from over 200 entries.
Linden Homes paid to have the cards designed, printed and arranged into packs for the school to sell to raise additional funds for future school trips.
Year two teacher Sonia Wasiejko said: “The children have thoroughly enjoyed working with Linden Homes on this Christmas project and we are already thinking of ways in which we can develop this relationship as they build new homes for our community.”
