Jet2.com Invests in Three Additional New Aircraft
The North’s leading leisure airline, Jet2.com, has today announced the purchase of three more new aircraft from Boeing. The next generation 737-800s are in addition to the 27 the company ordered in September and will be delivered between September 2016 and April 2018.
The acquisition of these three additional aircraft will support the future anticipated growth of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays increasing capacity to popular destinations across the Canary Islands, mainland Europe and the Mediterranean, as well as a host of top city breaks.
Philip Meeson, Executive Chairman said: “We are very pleased to have finalised this order of an additional three Boeing 737-800NG aircraft. This is an exciting time for Jet2.com as we invest in our next phase of expansion to further grow our already highly successful family-friendly leisure travel business.”
