Velocity provides parents with unique school holiday solution

Velocity Trampoline Park is providing the perfect solution to combat school holiday boredom throughout the festive period.

The popular Widnes-based family attraction will allow youngsters to ‘bounce off the walls’, literally, in a bid to offer something a little different to keep them active and entertained during the two-week break.

Managing Director of Velocity Leisure Steven Cosgrove said: “We certainly understand how frustrating the Christmas holidays can be for both children and parents, as it’s very easy for kids to get bored during their time off school - not to mention how hard it is for mums and dads to keep coming up with novel ideas. As the weather is increasingly chilly and rainy, outside family trips are often a no-go during this time of year, however we can provide a multitude of indoor amusement for kids aged four and above.

“At the trampoline park, there are a number of activities for youngsters to enjoy such as our Free Jump zone, which houses interconnected trampolines and a soft-play foam pit. In order to cater for older children, we also hold Club Velocity which features our resident DJ, together with Extreme Dodgeball for those with more of a competitive edge.“

Velocity Trampoline Park opened earlier this year and boasts more than 150 interconnected trampolines throughout the 27,000 sq. ft venue. Located on Bennett’s Lane, just a ten-minute drive from The Rocket in Liverpool, the park welcomes guests aged four and above and is the largest of its kind in the North West.

Steven added: “As part of our festive offerings, we are now providing Velocity Gift Vouchers, which make for perfect stocking fillers or ideal Secret Santa gifts for the little ones in your life. Likewise, as our children’s parties remain ever so popular, we have decided to put a yuletide twist on our various party options. Together with having exclusive access to one of three party rooms, children will be treated to food, drink and festive fun with the added novelty of yuletide necessities such as crackers, paper hats and Christmas songs.

“By providing a truly unique experience for children, we hope to make the school holidays that extra bit memorable for families across the North West this Christmastime.“

During the festive period Velocity Trampoline Park is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
