Maximizer sponsorship helps support SME growth
In late November 2015, the UK government announced that it would be winding down national delivery of the Business Growth Service[1] (BGS), a body which helped small and medium enterprises (SMEs) identify barriers to growth and which funded tailored support (including coaching, consultancy and mentoring) from the country’s community of expert business advisors. The service had proved critical to many businesses in developing and implementing their growth strategies, delivering tangible improvements in revenue and margin.
In the light of this support being withdrawn, Maximizer, the UK’s leading provider of Customer Relationship Management software for SMEs, has moved to start plugging the gap. Maximizer is funding an initial business consultancy session for up to 500 UK businesses with fewer than 50 employees during the first quarter of 2016. These initial sessions will be delivered by independent consultants from UK Business Advisors (UKBA) – a network of senior business people with knowledge, experience and achievements spanning every business sector, and with many members accredited by the Institute for Independent Business. The initial consultation also advises the SME on accessing a variety of other sources of available funding for growth consultancy.
SMEs with fewer than 50 employees who wish to sign up for their free initial business consultancy session[2] should apply by visiting http://www.maximizer.com/library/request-your-free-initial-business-consultancy-session/. Applicants will be accepted strictly on a first-come-first-served basis.
Mike Richardson, European Managing Director for Maximizer CRM Software, notes, “Although we appreciate in times of austerity services like the BGS can be affected, we are naturally disappointed that the funding is no longer available. The service has certainly helped UK SMEs generate proven growth. Moreover, we have quite a number of organisations amongst our customers who have implemented the invaluable strategic advice they have received through the scheme, often totally reinventing the way they generate and nurture sales leads, or develop business with their existing customers, through improved customer experience management. So we are pleased to go some small way towards supporting growth consultancy for dynamic smaller businesses with this offer delivered through UKBA.”
David Orren, CRM Practice Leader at Thames Valley Business Advisors (TVBA) adds, “The customer journey, from prospect, to lead to conversion, has fundamentally changed over the last five years. The old ways of attracting new business simply do not work any longer, and it is imperative that SMEs are enabled to meet the challenges of that new world in ways that are both effective and affordable. This is also a key issue for our economy, with dynamic smaller business often being the real drivers of innovation and growth. UKBA is very pleased to team up with Maximizer to help UK Ltd get in shape for success.”
