Day 20: FedEx festive top tips for small businesses
#20 Tempt Your Customers In
Christmas is coming and at FedEx we want to help your business be fully prepared this festive season. For today’s top tip, please see below:
The festive period sees a huge surge in demand and last year shoppers spent almost £3 billion on Boxing Day in the UK. While competition for customers can be fierce, the rewards are plenty for businesses who take advantage. One way to entice customers to your business is implementing promotions on certain products and deals. There are many ways of publicising these deals, but the most simple and cost effective way is to send your customers emails with special offers and promotion codes. These will help drive interest and keep your brand front of mind ahead of this festive period.
Promotions can help increase the size of your customers’ baskets, an effective way of achieving this is offering a free gift for orders over a certain amount. You can also send your customers information on special deals that are happening after Christmas, this could be your top Boxing Day deals, or an incentive to return in the New Year such as a voucher or gift card.
