Huddersfield Town signs extension on Total Fitness partnership
Huddersfield Town has extended its partnership with Total Fitness.
The Championship club has used the Waterloo-based facility for several years and is has struck a new deal to continue that arrangement.
Shelley Moore, Total Fitness General Manager, explained: “We are proud to continue our association with Huddersfield Town and, in doing so, make our contribution to the sporting success of the town itself.
“The team come down to the club on a regular basis to use the facilities and we have a good relationship with John and all the First Team squad and coaches.
“We have just spent £150,000 on new equipment in the gym, which the members have been very grateful for and love.
“I have only been the General Manager here since June and being from Manchester wondered how I would fit it. I have got to say the members and staff have been so friendly and welcoming; they have really made me feel at home. The future for the club is looking great and I am looking forward to a fantastic 2016.”
John Williams, Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Manager – Partnerships, added: “Total Fitness is clearly the premier fitness venue in the area and our players benefit enormously from the facilities there, especially given the massive investment in new equipment over the past month.
“The ongoing partnership that we have benefits us both and I am sure that it will continue to go from strength to strength over the next 12 months.”
