Khalil Ibrahimi joins Admedo as UK MD
London, January 5, 2016: Admedo, the UK-headquartered programmatic advertising platform, today announced that former Unanimis President and Founder, Khalil Ibrahimi, has joined the business in the newly created role of UK Managing Director. With over 20 years’ digital experience, Ibrahimi is a well-known and respected UK media industry figure who has pioneered numerous ventures, including founding the UK sales operations for Excite, Ask Jeeves, as well as co-founding OpenX with his Unanimis partners.
Ibrahimi will focus on growing Admedo’s UK business with brands, agencies, and publishers and optimising operational efficiency. Commenting on the appointment, Admedo CEO and Co-Founder Nick Moutter said: “I’m delighted to welcome Khalil to Admedo. Programmatic continues to experience strong growth, yet the industry is plagued by questions around transparency in terms of both spend and performance. As a business, we are breaking the barriers to programmatic with a vision for a more profitable, honest and transparent way of running online advertising. We are not afraid to lift the lid on the programmatic black box, and provide brands, agencies, and publishers with complete clarity on campaign performance and insight into where advertising budgets are spent”. Ibrahimi commented: “My background has involved working at a number of challenger brands that shake-up the equilibrium. Admedo’s young and energetic team, its disruptive approach and industry leading technology were appealing to me. That’s why joining the team at this crucial time – as the business experiences dramatic levels of growth – was an easy decision. With my expertise in successfully growing businesses, I will further build on the already significant demand for our custom solutions from publishers, agencies, and enterprise clients”.
