Hull communications firm launches US business performance tool in UK
Hull-based H&H, an internal communications and employee engagement agency, has secured an exclusive agreement to bring a business performance tool used by global brands, including Whirlpool and Meridium, to the UK for the first time.
Developed by the Paul Hertz Group, a USA-based consulting and training firm specialising in the improvement of productivity, PRINT® enhances organisational performance and develops teams.
Independent research commissioned by the Paul Hertz Group has revealed that margin enhancements of 30-50% and bottom line savings of 15-50% are directly attributed to PRINT®.
PRINT®, which uncovers people’s core motivations, is able to identify patterns by determining why we act the way we do, singling out an individual’s positive and negative behaviours and why one is chosen over the other.
PRINT® has already been incorporated into the management development activities of fifteen local authorities within the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Helen Bissett, managing director of H&H, said: “We’re extremely excited to be bringing such a unique business performance tool to the UK – especially in light of the results it’s delivered to such respected international brands.
“Unlike traditional profiling tools, PRINT® goes way beyond identifying and describing. Instead of simply stating what we do, it uncovers why we do it. It doesn’t just group us into colour types or personality types. It focuses on the underlying drivers of our behaviour and how this impacts on our performance.
“Follow up studies have found that 92 per cent of people still use PRINT® knowledge one year after initial training. We’ve run a number of pilots for PRINT® in the UK and the response has been phenomenal; we’re now looking forward to introducing it in earnest to both public and private sector organisations across the country.”
PRINT was launched to senior executives from Yorkshire-based businesses representing a combined turnover of some £500m and almost 1,000 employees last month.
David Brennan, chief executive of Nexus Vehicle Rental, the UK’s corporate vehicle rental company, who attended the launch event, commented: “Having experienced PRINT first-hand, I can honestly say I was highly impressed by the process and just how accurate the results were. It was a very interesting and thought-provoking session and the results sparked a lot of debate among delegates.
“The thing I really like about PRINT is that unlike other profiling tools, it doesn’t just tell you what type of personality you have but goes several steps further, identifying why you are the way you are and the trigger points that can prevent you from being the best you can be and how to counter them effectively.
“I can see the PRINT programme being of real benefit to organisations and individuals alike who are looking to improve their productivity, performance and efficiency.”
