Pantheon Macroeconomics finds new home at Newcastle Quayside House
Pantheon Macroeconomics has let the third floor office space at Quayside House in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Pantheon, which has a New York presence as well as a Newcastle base, provides independent economic intelligence to financial market professionals worldwide.
The firm takes up a five year contract at the 1,659 sq ft site and has been leased at a rent of £33,180 per annum exclusive, equating to £20 psf.
Chris Pearson, partner, Gavin Black & Partners, joint agent with Cushman & Wakefield advising the landlord, revealed that the deal was completed in a very short timescale.
He said: “This is a fantastic suite in the building with superb river Tyne views. There is a relative lack of such suites available now in Newcastle City Centre and in particular Newcastle Quayside.
“As a result we are confident that there will be a good level of interest in the 7,500 sq ft suites on floors 1 and 2 which are in the process of being comprehensively refurbished to offer some very good office space which includes a new high efficiency air conditioning system and an overall high quality of design.
“There is also on-site car parking, important in this very busy business quarter of central Newcastle that includes occupiers such as Bond Dickinson, Mott MacDonald, Ward Hadaway, NEPIA and many hotels and restaurants.”
Two floors are still available at 110 Quayside, amounting to 15,000 sq ft of office space.
