New website aims to bring love to office lunches

A Leicestershire based catering company is on a mission to revolutionise workplace lunches with the launch of a brand new website.

Love Lunch was founded by best friends Zoe Furber and Jo Finch based at home in Shepshed, with the principle of bringing delicious, healthier choices to dull and unsatisfying office lunches.

“At Love Lunch we experienced a lack of healthier convenient food in our everyday lives. People don’t have the time to queue at high-street chains for the same old selection of sandwiches and salads”, said co-founder Jo Finch, “We want to offer homemade food delivered to your office which is tempting, satisfying and wholesome, but does not compromise on taste or quality”.

To launch their new website, Love Lunch approached leading North East web design company Urban River. “It was important for us to work with a company that clearly understood our vision. From our first dealing with Urban River, their communication, openness and the personal relationship we’ve had with the team has been fantastic”, said Love Lunch co-founder, Zoe Furber. “From the website, to our new logo and brand identity, we couldn’t be happier with the results”.

Built on a mobile and tablet friendly WordPress WooCommerce platform, the site incorporates a host of e-commerce features including user accounts, bespoke pricing, voucher deals and special offers. The Urban River team also implemented a bespoke postcode lookup, which checked potential clients postcodes against the ones Love Lunch deliver to. Customers who wanted delivery in the applicable areas were allowed to register and place their orders.
