NGC Networks and Lowell Group seal multi-million pound partnership

NCG Networks, the Wakefield-based telecoms specialist, has secured a multi-million pound contract with consumer credit management company, Lowell Group.

The contract will see NGC Networks provide Lowell Group with all its telephone lines at its Leeds headquarters and offices in Surrey over the next five years.

Lowell Group specialises in debt recovery, data analytics and customer insight and employs more than 900 staff at its Yorkshire base.

In addition, NGC Networks is spearheading an additional project for Lowell Group which involves implementing a new secure payment system which complies with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards.

Lowell Group is an existing NGC client alongside others, including Superbreak Holidays, Manning Stainton, Puma UK, Animalcare, Bradford Bulls and The Car People.

Nikki Guest, NCG Network’s director, said: “We have developed a strong relationship with Lowell Group and are delighted to be continuing our work with the company. The nature of its business means it is heavily regulated and we have been able to come up with a secure payment solution which meets industry standards and Lowell’s desire to deliver high quality customer service.”

Gary Edwards, chief information officer at Lowell Group, added: “This contract represents significant investment by us in our telecommunications, which are central to delivering an exceptional and professional service to our customers. Where possible, we work with local businesses and are pleased to be continuing our partnership with NGC Networks.”

The new secure payment system is being delivered with ICT solutions provider GCI.
