The Right Fuelcard Company powers into Sunday Times Best Small Companies
The Right Fuelcard Company (TRFC), which is marking unprecedented growth since being launched in 2011, has made it into the Sunday Times Best 100 Small Companies to Work For - just four years after the business was launched.
The achievement acknowledges how TRFC - an independent distributor of Shell, Esso, Keyfuels and UK Fuels cards, practises excellence in workplace engagement via structured training and development plans for career progression.
Investment in training included three managers being accredited this year as members of the Institute of Leadership and Management, and business director Adam Walsh undertaking an MA in Organisational Behaviour at the University of Leeds Business School.
IiP accredited in 2014, assessors praised the company’s values-driven and transparent HR strategy – noting how staff are proud to work for TRFC. With headquarters in Hunslet, expansion has seen additional offices opening in Harrogate in September 2014 and York in June 2015.
Employee perks include staff finishing work at 3pm every Friday, being given their birthdays off, and team events both outside and inside the offices.
Said Adam Walsh: “Being included in the prestigious Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For is a phenomenal achievement which is attributable to our fantastic team. We are always seeking ‘can-do’ people with positive attitudes who can grow and develop with us as we go from strength to strength.
“Well done to everyone for their invaluable contribution to this milestone and to all the other companies that made Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work list.”
TRFC will find out what ranking it has achieved at an award ceremony in London in February 2016.
