Deal drives international growth at Oldham-based James Briggs
James Briggs, the North West aerosol and consumer chemicals manufacturer, has signed a new deal that will see its reach extended to the Middle East.
As part of the strategic partnership, the Oldham firm has become the sole product manufacturer for Zettex BV Europe, the international distributor.
The deal is James Briggs’ second foray into a new geographical market in the last six months, following an Irish distribution deal struck in September.
Iman Braal, the commercial director of Zettex Europe BV, said: “We’re constantly looking at ways to improve our offering and we saw an opportunity to work with a class-leading developer and manufacturer in James Briggs.
“We’re proud to partner with them and look forward to seeing our clients reaping the benefits of our collaboration.”
The CEO at James Briggs, Tim Pugh, said he believes the partnership will “provide the foundations” for the company’s international growth plans.
He continued: “We’re extremely excited to extend our reach out across Europe and into the Middle East for the first time.
“The move has seen us substantially increase our manufacturing capabilities and, having worked closely with Zettex over several months to develop its product formulations, we’re confident that this will prove a long-standing and fruitful relationship.”
