The Leeds-based firm, which is part of construction and energy company GMI, has appointed former property consultant Ian Honeybill as the managing director of the new North West division.

“It is fantastic to be part of Duchy Homes team as we look to identify new development opportunities across South Manchester, Cheshire and the Wirral.”
The North West division is due to operate from an office in Manchester Business Park.
Duchy Homes’ group MD, Jim Cropper, commented: “Ian’s appointment demonstrates our commitment to growing the Duchy Homes brand and expanding into the North West.
“He is very experienced having worked in the industry for over 20 years which will help to kick start our operation in the North West.”
Jim added: “There is a rising demand for the development of luxury housing and the team has already begun to explore a variety of different potential sites for development.”
