Domino UK to establish 170,000 sq ft Bootle HQ
Redsun Developments has revealed plans to create a new 170,000 sq ft centre in Bootle, Merseyside, to be used as the UK HQ of manufacturing firm Domino UK Ltd.
Liverpool-based developer Redsun will build the facility at Senate Business Park, on a 10-acre site it acquired after exchanging contracts with Sefton Council.
Redsun MD Craig Booton said: “This is a fantastic start to 2016 for Redsun. This project is the result of a close collaboration with Sefton Council and Domino and we can’t wait to get started on-site to deliver a world class facility for a significant local employer.
“We completed a number of successful developments at the end of 2015 and we’re looking to push on with this and other projects in 2016.”
Redsun has said that as many of its previous projects focused on SME occupiers, the new development at Senate Business Park represents its first foray into the larger scale industrial market.
Architecture firm Fletcher Rae has designed the scheme, while C4 Consulting served as the project manager and Muir Consulting provided engineering services.
A main contractor for the development will be procured in the coming weeks, with construction work expected to start in May this year. Domino is due to move into the premises in early 2017.
