North East energy partnership to create 12 new jobs
Future Energy is looking to further fuel its growing reputation in the region by teaming up with a North East energy contact centre.
The energy startup surged on to the region’s energy scene in September last year and in doing so, became the first Newcastle-based energy firm to supply North East customers in 20 years.
Partnering with Boldon-based EC Outsourcing, Future Energy believes it will benefit from EC’s knowledge and expertise in energy sales, helping to support its future growth.
Launching last week, the venture will see up to 12 new jobs created by the team in Boldon who will handle both inbound and outbound calls for Future Energy.
Tim Cantle-Jones, MD at Future Energy, said: “It has been an immensely challenging task to bring Future Energy to the point at which we now supply households across North East England with their power and are ushering in a new era in which a local company will work for local people.”
Phil Westoby, MD of The EC Group, said: “Future Energy have ambitious plans for growth in the North East and we are delighted to be supporting a local company in delivering more customers.”
“We are delighted to be working together in our drive to save customers across the North East money on their energy bills.”
