Blackbox Solutions cuts the ribbon on new headquarters
Blackbox Solutions, a provider of office equipment and services in London and the South East, has opened its new head office in Maidstone, Kent.
The new premises are situated in The Old Printworks, Medway Street in Maidstone’s town centre and were officially opened by the Mayor of Maidstone Councillor Daniel Moriarty.
Blackbox, whose original headquarters were located in Rochester, have a client-base of 170 businesses across the South East and announced a partnership with Maidstone council at the end of last year. It supplies businesses with information technology and document solutions through a dealer partnership with Samsung Technologies.
The move will see all of the Kent-based business’ sales, servicing and client support staff housed under one roof, along with a new drop-in print, scan and copy service.
In light of the relocation, Colin Griffin, Managing Director of Blackbox Solutions, said: “We are thrilled to have moved into these fantastic new headquarters right in the heart of Maidstone.
“This move gives us access to a growing local economy, a skilled workforce and a strong strategic location, all of which will serve as a foundation for the continued expansion of our business. We have already started to recruit additional staff from Maidstone and the surrounding area.
“Since we launched Blackbox Solutions in 2012 we’ve experienced in excess of 100 per cent growth every year and we’re on track to reach £4m in turnover next financial year.”
