York Racecourse hits the ground running with new sponsorship deal

York Racecourse has agreed a sponsorship deal to work in partnership with fleet management company Autohorn, also based in York, for the fourth year running.

As part of the deal, the racecourse’s staff benefit from the use of one of Autohorn’s four wheel drive vehicles throughout the year. They will also supply a number of additional vehicles on race days to provide a VIP shuttle service to and from the Racecourse.

Autohorn receives prominent on course signage and branding which is visible to the 360,000 racecourse visitors and the millions of television viewers watching the live action from York on the fourteen days that Channel 4 cameras visit the Knavesmire.

The company also benefits from a corporate entertainment package allowing them to entertain clients and suppliers at this year’s race meetings.

Autohorn, which specialises in fleet management for companies that run fleets of vehicles, offers services including vehicle hire, vehicle leasing, flexible leasing, fuel management, driver training and accident management.

The company also provides personal vehicle leasing under its 1st Car Leasing brand and offers vehicle rental from its Europcar franchise which is based at York Railway Station.
