Lift-Off for Surrey Entrepreneur Board

The Academy for Chief Executives, a UK wide executive coaching and mentoring organisation, launches a new Entrepreneur Board group in Surrey this February for senior business leaders and entrepreneurs with a former construction chief at its helm.

Entrepreneur Board 8 is formed of non-competing businesses and leaders in the Kingston, Twickenham, Walton, Woking and Guildford areas in Surrey. It will be run by Associate Chair Paul Adlam, who has spent most of his working life in the construction industry, building a business from scratch to a turnover of £6 million and also being voted by his peers to be the youngest ever President of his Industry Association.

Paul will help members to realise their full potential and become top business leaders using his skills and experience gained as a Business Consultant, Coach and NLP Practitioner. Paul also has a lifelong interest in history; as an expert on the D-Day landings in Normandy he brings the themes of Leadership under extreme circumstances into his work with business leaders.

The Academy provides a monthly forum for business leaders and senior executives to meet in a confidential, non-competitive, peer-to-peer learning environment to share their experience and expertise, to problem-solve together and improve the performance of their companies.

Paul Adlam says: “The launch of the new Entrepreneur Board 8 is an exciting opportunity for Surrey entrepreneurs to grow and develop their businesses.”

He adds: “I have been a member of the Academy for Chief Executives for over six years and in that time the Academy has helped me achieve some of my dreams and lead a more fulfilling and rewarding life, including successfully moving out of my business and exploring other ventures. Now it’s time for me to give something back and I’m very much looking forward to working with the most dynamic business owners and senior executives in the region.”

Paul is holding a Discovery event on 24th February at the De Vere Horsley Park with guest speaker Giles Miskin and his Colour Works Leadership profiling system. This is a no obligation morning event, which will give interested businesspeople the opportunity to meet Paul and explore how The Academy can help transform their businesses.

The Academy for Chief Executives approaches its 21st birthday this year and has forged a strong, diverse community of over 450 dynamic UK business leaders who together promote business excellence and shared learning. The Academy grows leaders and transforms businesses by inspiring CEO’s, MD’s and Directors to become more professional, more fulfilled and more successful.
