Creamline Wakes People Up To Farmhouse Breakfast Week

Creamline Dairies (www.creamline.co.uk) - the long established, Trafford based family company is continuing its mission to promote the importance of a healthy breakfast, supporting the Farmhouse Breakfast Week (24th – 30th January) with a series of initiatives.

Kick starting the celebrations, Creamline is hosting a Breakfast Week assembly at Urmston Junior School as part of their continued Meet the Milkman educational roadshow. Bringing to life the story of milk’s journey from the farm to the cereal bowl, pupils will be treated to Creamline’s behind the scenes video, starring Channel 5 presenter Olivia Birchenough, as well as a taste of Creamline’s milk and a chance to win a breakfast hamper for their family, as part of Creamline’s design-a-poster competition.

Other Creamline activities include a chance to win a tasty breakfast hamper, packed full of all the Creamline goodies you need to create the perfect start to the morning. Hosted on Creamline’s Twitter platform @CreamlineDairy, the competition will also be joined by an eye catching infographic – outlining some interesting facts about the average breakfast, in an easy to digest illustrated style.

Creamline has also called upon its resident chef Nigel Brown, to create a series of breakfast recipes, helping Manchester families find the perfect breakfast for their busy morning. Set to be added to the site during Farmhouse Breakfast Week, Creamline’s breakfast recipes can be found on the dedicated recipe section of the site http://www.creamline.co.uk/recipes

Commenting on Creamline’s involvement with Farmhouse Breakfast Week, Joint Managing Director Chris Swallow, said: “Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day and we’re always glad to promote healthy eating, which is why we’re supporting this campaign for the third year running.”

Dedicated to providing local produce for local people, Creamline has recently launched a new online fruit and vegetable service (www.creamline.co.uk/fruit-and-veg). Customers can click and choose the items they fancy, which are then handpicked from Smithfield market with the added bonus of free delivery, alongside your pint of milk and other daily Creamline essentials.
