Avant Homes to deliver 470 new homes in South and West Yorkshire
Yorkshire housebuilder Avant Homes is set to build 470 new homes across three new sites in Pontefract, Wakefield and Barnsley.
The trio of sites have a combined value of over £92m, representing a significant investment in the region.
The housebuilder will construct 160 homes on a 12 acre site in Pontefract off Cobblers Lane providing a collection of two, three and four-bedroom townhouses, semi-detached and detached properties.
In Wakefield, 137 three, four and five -bedroom townhouses, semi-detached and detached properties will be built on a 10 acre site off Bar Lane.
Avant Homes will also deliver 174 two, three and four-bedroom townhouses, semi-detached and detached properties on Carr Green Lane in Mapplewell, near Barnsley.
Mark Mitchell, Avant Homes’ managing director, said: “We are very excited to be bringing these three new developments to the region. With our exceptional property designs and superior all-inclusive specification, we expect to see a great deal of demand from buyers and for our investment in these sites to be fully justified.
“We’ve experienced large levels of interest in existing developments in these areas including Prince’s Park in Pontefract, Redwood in Wakefield and Bella View in Rotherham and because of this, we expect homes to sell very quickly once released.”
All homes built will be from Avant Homes’ new portfolio of house designs, which have been created following extensive market research into what today’s buyers are looking for in a new home.
Building work has already begun in Pontefract and Wakefield, with the first properties anticipated to be ready for occupation in May and June respectively. Work is expected to commence at Mapplewell imminently with showhomes likely to open in the spring.
