New appointments boost Clarke’s Environmental’s Scottish presence
Asbestos removal expert, Clarke’s Environmental Ltd, is further bolstering the expertise at its Glasgow office to drive forward its ambitious growth plans in the thriving Scottish market.
The developments, which follow the company’s acquisition of Glasgow-based Angus Asbestos Ltd at Hillington Park, include promoting director Graham Patterson to director of operations, Scotland – managing all day-to-day business.
Having amassed a wealth of expertise as a project consultant and site agent for asbestos services and removal, Graham has delivered programmes including the multi-million pound Moss Heights upgrade works in Glasgow, which saw major improvements to 12 multi-storey blocks.
Graham Patterson said: “Clarke’s Environmental continues to go from strength to strength in Scotland with existing and new clients including procurement organisation Scotland Excel - and I look forward to playing an instrumental role in realising our business goals with an experienced team.”
Rachel McKenzie will support Graham and the team as office manager as part of the expansion drive for the business which has nine teams of asbestos removal experts, who are commissioned by clients spanning blue chips, local authorities, demolition companies, the MOD, police forces, and prisons – as well as domestic customers.
MD, Richard Clarke, said: “We launched Clarke’s Environmental in 2006 following concerns regarding falling standards within the asbestos removal industry – and these key appointments reinforce our credentials and underpin the drive to establish ourselves as a prominent player here.”
