Sporting events company to establish Birchwood Park HQ
Sporting events company Contest Sports and Media is set to establish new HQ at Birchwood Park.
The firm will relocate to the park’s Lovell House office building from its current base in Warrington’s Cultural Quarter.
Rob Griffiths, the director of Contest Sports and Media, said: “Birchwood Park is the ideal location for our expanding business.
“We love the modern facilities Birchwood Park has to offer and, as sport enthusiasts, we know this is the right place for us.”
He added: “Whilst being small in size, we are a global business therefore Birchwood Park’s close proximity to fantastic transport links is ideal for the team to reach our international clients.”
Contest Sports and Media’s events over the last two years, including the Rock ‘n’ Roll Liverpool Marathon and the English Half Marathon in Warrington, have collectively attracted more than 25k participants.
Birchwood Park’s senior leasing manager, Mark Baldwin, said, “We are delighted to welcome Contest Sports and Media to Birchwood Park.
“The location of our offices is a huge bonus for this company, providing the team with efficient access to their international sporting events.”
He continued: “We look forward to seeing them become part of the Birchwood Park community as they continue to grow and develop further exciting sporting events across the UK.”
