Advantec expands its content marketing team

Southampton digital agency Advantec has strengthened its growing team with the appointment of Emma Budd as senior content marketer.

Advantec, based in Swanwick, is recognised as one of the top full service digital agencies in the south east. It specialises in the design and build of market-leading websites for businesses, brand names and e-commerce retailers.

The team works with clients based across the UK, ranging from regional businesses to government organisations. Recent projects have included the creation a new e-commerce website for Beaulieu, one of Hampshire’s top tourist attractions.

As senior content marketer Emma will be responsible for creating content marketing strategies for clients, designed to strengthen the sales process and aid their SEO and digital marketing activity. This will include planning, writing and editing high quality content.

Commenting on her appointment, Emma Budd said: “Advantec works with a range of organisations, from household names and iconic brands to local companies, and that really appeals to me. I’m looking forward to creating interesting and engaging content for such a variety of clients. I love creating strategies and seeing them right through to content distribution and then measurement, so I can’t wait to get stuck in.”

She added: “Before joining the team I had attended a few of the free training events that Advantec offer, so I already had a feel for how they do things. Learning more about the emphasis placed on staff development and wellbeing, such as offering flexitime and a commitment to training, was just the icing on the cake. There’s a relaxed company culture, but everyone is extremely hard-working, it’s a great environment to work in.”

Emma holds a First Class Honours Degree in Journalism from the University of the Arts London and in her spare time enjoys yoga, travel and writes her own blog.
