Mitchell Consulting appoint Business Development Manager

Mitchell Consulting Actuaries Limited, an independent Manchester-based corporate pensions and actuarial firm, has announced the appointment of Neil Barton as Business Development Manager.

Neil brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the areas of pensions and employee benefits previously gained with companies such as Buck Consultants, a Xerox Company, Profund Solutions and TerranNua. He will now will be responsible for nationwide business development activities at Mitchell Consulting.

Nigel Jones, Director for the company said: “We are delighted to announce and welcome Neil as our Business Development Manager. As we’ve experienced remarkable growth over the last two years, we knew we needed to bring in additional resources to manage new business. Neil’s appointment will add depth to our sales and marketing team and he will be an integral part of developing our relationships with new clients”.

Mitchell Consulting is an actuarial and investment consulting firm specialising in the area of pensions. The company has a national reputation in the areas of de-risking and liability management, distressed or financially challenged businesses and mergers and acquisitions, including private equity transactions.

Mitchell Consulting also offer independent trusteeship through its sister company, 2020 Trustees, a corporate trustee in Manchester and Nottingham which will also come under Neil’s remit.“
