PR boss Suzy Glaskie launches new health and wellbeing company
Entrepreneur Suzy Glaskie has announced the launch of Peppermint Wellness, a health and wellbeing firm.
Suzy, who founded Hale-based marketing communications agency Peppermint Soda in 2004, has left her position as joint MD of the company to establish the coaching business.
The new practice will work to help both individuals and groups reduce stress, improve energy levels and digestion, cut cravings and manage their weight.
Peppermint Wellness will also target corporate clients with services aimed at improving employee focus and productivity.
Commenting on the move, Suzy said: “Health coaching is quite a departure from PR but is something I’ve been passionate about for many years.
“Having clocked up over two decades in the fast-paced marketing industry, I’ve witnessed first-hand the damaging effects of juggling a high-stress job and poor nutrition.”
She continued: “I’m also well attuned to the manipulative marketing techniques used by the food industry to market unhealthy foods, having spent eight years in food processing PR.
“Most importantly, as a mum, I know how hard it is to get kids to cut down on their beloved sugar and that makes me realistic and pragmatic in advising my clients who have families of their own.”
Suzy’s husband Jean-Philippe Glaskie has taken the reins of Peppermint Soda, having joined the business in 2007.
