Newton Aycliffe security risk management expert to speak at Dubai conference
North East international security risk management expert Andy Davis will share his knowledge at an international conference held in Dubai.
Managing director of Newton Aycliffe-based Trident Manor, Andy will be speaking at the ASIS International 7th Middle East Security and Education Conference about international supply chain security risks.
Amongst the conference’s key note speakers is Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, who is Deputy Chairman of Police and General Security in Dubai.
The event will see industry experts from across the globe gather for the three-day long conference and will explore the key trends and issues facing security professionals from a number of different sectors. It also acts as the summit for the Chief Security Officer (CSO) Round Table – an exclusive group of leading global security executives.
Mr Davis, who possesses more than 25 years’ global experience, which includes providing security advice for government and corporate organisations, will also be discussing ongoing security risks posed by terrorism, namely the instability in the Middle East – in his role as a member of the CSO Round Table.
He said: “The conference will provide the perfect platform for fellow security professionals to discuss and evaluate developments in the industry, and I am delighted to be involved.
“Security and crisis threats are prevalent in all industries and professions, so it is important for organisations, including SMEs and large corporations, to fully understand the potential risks that exist and how to manage them.”
Established in 2013, Trident Manor recently announced a partnership with OnCourse, an African-based training provider for defensive driving, to create a specialist programme aimed at managing driving and security risks, in difficult and hostile environments.
Mr Davis added: “It is exciting times for Trident Manor as we look to build on 2015’s positivity and forge new ties in the UK and internationally. The deal with OnCourse was a particular highlight from last year, and hopefully I can secure further partnerships in the future.”
