Zinwave hires new CEO

Zinwave has appointmented Scott Willis as CEO in a bid to drive the company’s next wave of growth in a buoyant wireless market. This appointment swiftly follows an active recruitment programme to strengthen Zinwave’s commercial and technical teams globally and the opening of larger premises in San Jose to support its growing customer base in Silicon Valley as well as the rest of North America.

Willis comes to Zinwave as a recognised telecommunications leader and has over 30 years’ executive-level experience with technology firms and network operators including Ericsson, Nokia, BellSouth and Sprint.

“With its unique wideband distributed antenna system based on advanced photonics and wideband amplification technology developed by world-class researchers, Zinwave is a strong technology leader and innovator in the DAS space,” said Willis. “I look forward to translating that leadership into broader market success.”
