Apadmi scoops Large Digital Agency of the Year
Apadmi, the UK’s leading mobile app developer, has been crowned Large Digital Agency of the Year at the Northern Digital Awards.
Apadmi fought off fierce competition from nine other agencies to collect the accolade at the prestigious awards ceremony, which was held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on 28th January 2016.
Judges were impressed with Apadmi’s latest landmark app development projects with the BBC and the NHS, as well as its level of innovation and growth.
In addition, judges praised the company’s regular initiatives that aim to nurture best practice and innovation within the app development community, such as Apadmi’s Summer Roadshow - a week-long tour of Manchester-based companies, where Apadmi hosted app development workshops upon a vintage double decker London bus.
The Northern Digital Awards recognise the very best in digital marketing campaigns and talent in the region and reward websites across a number of sectors to reflect the online world that public, private and third sector organisations now inhabit, trade and communicate in.
Winners were decided by a judging panel of independent experts that included: Andy Barke, industry head at Google UK, Martin Bryant, editor in chief at The Next Web, Jeff Coghlan, creative director at Matmi, Bryan Adams, CEO and founder of PH.Creative, Neil Costello, head of marketing at Aviva, Katie Gallagher, managing director at Manchester Digital and Ben Bisco, head of digital at JD Williams.
Nick Black, CEO of Apadmi, said: “Everyone at Apadmi is overjoyed that we have been named large digital agency of the year. The team has worked incredibly hard over the last 12 months, and this award is a testament to their dedication and success.
“It’s a superb step forward as we are recognised for all that we do across app, server, design, test, consultancy, strategy and marketing. As an agency we have evolved over our seven years of operation and this award recognises that.
“I’m truly delighted that the judges have recognised Apadmi’s work and it’s a fantastic nod from the industry.”
