Join the Dots opens new office in Singapore

Join the Dots, who in 2015 were named as the sixth fastest growing market research company in the UK by the Market Research Society, have announced the opening of their first international office, signalling their intention to develop and grow their international portfolio of clients.

Join the Dots grew by 28% in 2015 and the new office in Singapore will allow the company to service their existing clients who have operations in the Far East, including Glaxo Smith Kline, Unilever and Diageo. It will also allow them to pursue new opportunities across Asia.

The new office will be headed up by Karen Schofield who takes the position of managing director, Singapore and who was previously the company’s innovations director.

With a staff of 117 across its UK and new Far East operations, turnover is set to reach £10m in 2016.

As well as being recognised by the Market Research Society, Join the Dots received the AURA Communication Award for the fourth time last year and in 2014 AURA Insight clients voted them Agency of the Year. In 2015 they were also ranked in the Top 50 global most innovative supplier companies by the GRIT Report (Greenbook Research Industry Trends).

Speaking about this expansion, founder and director Pete Comley said, “With a number of clients already in the Far East, the next logical step was to open our own office there.

“We have ambitious plans for growth and, apart from allowing us to develop closer relationships with our clients’ businesses out there; the office provides the perfect base from which to expand our interests across Asia.”

The company was founded by Comley in 1998 and since then has grown to be one of the most respected market research companies, delivering consumer insight to their multi-national clients through a combination of rigorous primary research and the latest thinking in psychology, behavioural economics and consumer trends.

Join the Dots’ other clients include British Airways, Tesco, Nationwide, The Co-operative and NFU Mutual.
