Physiotherapy firm grows North East presence with Sunderland expansion
A physiotherapy clinic, which operates across the North of England, has opened its 10th premises by expanding to Sunderland.
Beginning with one clinic in Leeds in 2010, Sano now provides physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation services to seven clinics across the Yorkshire county and three clinics in the North East.
Opening at the end of last year, the site has already welcomed over 100 individual new patients in the first month of opening, completing more than 500 appointments.
The business is headed up by Matt Taylor who was keen to develop a strong digital strategy to match the increasing growth and facilitate its further expansion.
The firm’s new website which also launched last year now hosts a unique personality for each clinic and a blog style ‘The Knowledge’ section provides users with latest news and important health information.
Matt said: “As a physiotherapy business, we’re very much hands on and therefore our business is an offline one. However, the digital strategy we have incorporated to continue the successful growth has certainly allowed for smarter working, a better user-friendly experience for patients and an outlet to promote each clinic.”
Sano also offer professional sports massage and acupuncture at all their clinics and are recognized by all major health care insurers, including BUPA, AXA PPP, Cigna, Aviva and Pru Health.
