Association of Chartered Certified Accountants makes Adelphi move
London-based accounting body, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), has officially opened its new global head office at The Adelphi.
The firm has moved from its previous offices at 27 Lincoln’s Inn Fields in the London Borough of Camden into the historic Adelphi building in the City of Westminster.
The offices were officially opened yesterday in a ceremony that saw the Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London, Mr Kenneth Olisa Esq, cut the ribbon of the new premises.
Helen Brand, Chief Executive of ACCA, said at the event: “What all our members and stakeholders value, wherever they are in the world, is ACCA’s strength and history in our home market – the UK.
“It is important to them and, I believe to the delivery of ACCA’s future ambition, that ACCA is headquartered in surroundings that tell the story of our heritage, our modern relevance and future vision.”
ACCA’s President, Datuk Alexandra Chin, added: “This celebration marks a new chapter for ACCA. I am sure that The Adelphi years will build on ACCA’s Lincoln’s Inn Fields era and build on our success. As a leading professional body for a global profession, I am confident of ACCA’s future direction and vision.”
