New era beckons for region’s top property awards
Rebranded for 2016, the former Your Move Property Awards is relaunching as the North West Property Awards (NWPAs).
Set to take place this October, the NWPAs are expanding its reach beyond Merseyside and will recognise the commercial and residential property sector across the whole of the North West.
The awards were established 13 years ago by Move Publishing Ltd, the publishers of Your Move and Move Commercial magazines, which are the largest residential and commercial property publications in the North West.
The annual awards have become an important fixture in the region’s calendar of events and the NWPAs will continue to celebrate excellence in the property industry.
The NWPAs will recognise property agents, developers and law firms, along with apprentices and other related businesses in the property sector.
Kim O’Brien, director of Move Publishing, says: “For 13 years, the property awards have acted as an indicator of the quality and drive within Merseyside’s property industry. The time is right to launch a refreshed and re-energised NWPAs in to the North West.
“There has been a high level of demand from businesses outside of Merseyside wanting to be involved and enter their commercial schemes and projects. The expansion of the NWPAs reflects the ongoing regeneration and development of the North West’s office, retail and industrial offering.”
The NWPAs have been designed to encompass every aspect of the commercial and residential sector, with additional recognition opportunities for related businesses such as architects.
The 12 categories for the NWPAs 2016 include Best Commercial Let, Best Student Landlord, Best Commercial Scheme, Commercial Property Agent of the Year, Best Affordable Home, Regeneration Award, Property Apprentice and Residential Property Agency of the Year.
A distinguished panel of judges will be challenged with the task of selecting the winners ahead of the ceremony on Thursday 20 October in the Lutyens Crypt, Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.
Entries will open on Friday 12 February. Visit www.nwpas.com for a full list of award categories, criteria and entry details.
