Expanding companies acquire two warehouses in West Leeds
Leeds-based commercial property specialist, Gent Visick has sold two warehouses to expanding occupiers in West Leeds.
Garment wholesaler WW Group, which has been trading on Grangefield Industrial Estate for over 8 years, has purchased the 28,500 sq. ft. unit formerly known as Astonish House.
The new warehouse will enable the wholesaler to grow following the success of its online sales platform over recent years.
The property was sold on behalf of Astonish Cleaning Products, the manufacturer of cruelty free cleaning products, which formerly occupied the premises prior to its expansion into a 50,000 sq. ft. property in Bradford.
Chris Ferris of WW Group commented: “The acquisition of Astonish House is the second building that we have bought on this estate in recent years. The acquisition allows us to relocate without causing too much disruption whilst our other building is now fully let to Olympus Labels who have been able to double their accommodation.”
Gent Visick acted solely on behalf of Astonish Cleaning Products.
In addition, Bliss Ltd, specialist suppliers in tanning and skincare products, has acquired a 16,500 sq. ft. property in West Park. Bliss will expand its distribution operation as well as relocating its city centre office space to the new property.
The property was sold on behalf of BR Pharmaceuticals which has retained part of the premises for its own use.
Richard Henley of Gent Visick added: “Buying properties for owner occupiers is becoming increasingly difficult due to a limited supply in the market therefore it is great to complete the sale of both of these buildings which will help to facilitate the expansion of local businesses.”
Gent Visick acted jointly with Cushman and Wakefield on behalf of BR Pharmaceuticals
