Lovefilm entrepreneur to provide keynote speech at London CFO Club
Entrepreneur and co-founder of Lovefilm, William Reeve, has been announced as the keynote speaker at the London CFO Club networking event on 24 February.
Reeve, who has over 40 angel investments and business ventures under his belt, will share expertise and advice gleaned from his own personal success stories with businesses such as Secret Escapes, Graze.com and Zoopla.
The event, which is run by financial services specialist Numitas, brings together senior finance executives and professionals and will be held at the Institute of Directors in Pall Mall.
Chris Chapman, Managing Partner at Numitas, said: “We are delighted that William Reeve will be addressing the participants of our first London CFO Club event, for which over 100 CFOs have registered.
“He will share the lessons learnt over the course of his dynamic career and some ‘home truths’ about raising money in the startup ecosystem. He strongly believes that British investors should be building companies that could successfully defend themselves against the Californians. I have no doubt it’s going to be a fascinating evening.”
He added: “We have had an overwhelmingly positive response from the CFO community in London and look forward to all participating finance professionals engaging in the discussion that will follow William’s presentation and in networking with their peers at the event.”
