Barratt Homes contributes over £160,000 to Cayton community

A local housebuilder has announced it has contributed over £160,000 to the local community since the launch of its popular housing development on West Garth in Cayton. Barratt Homes’ Springhill Meadows development has donated a grand total of £162,200 to help support local initiatives – demonstrating its on-going commitment to the local community.

Named Yorkshire’s House Builder of the Year in 2015, Barratt has contributed £160,000 as part of its Section 106 agreement; in addition £200 has been donated to Cayton Community Primary School and a further £1,350 to the Parish Council. The developer has also contributed to popular events in the local area - including a £200 donation to the annual Pro Surf Festival and £200 to support the Cayton in Bloom project. Last year the housebuilder also contributed £250 to place Christmas trees in and around the village.

Debbie Foster, sales manager at Barratt Homes, commented: “At Barratt Homes we are dedicated to supporting the local communities in which we develop and are pleased to see the funds we have donated being put to such good use in Cayton. It’s been a delight to help the community and we hope to have benefited a wide range of people in the local area with these donations.”

Springhill Meadows is a fantastic development of new homes in the Scarborough area. A popular location with a wide range of homes available, Springhill Meadows is a great development for families, first time buyers and even holiday home enthusiasts.

One, two and three bedroom homes are available to purchase from £115,995 to £184,995.
