Winsulate employs a team of 50 across three UK offices

Asbestos removal firm Winsulate secures £700k boost

Winsulate, the asbestos and environmental compliance services provider, has secured a £700k boost with Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance.

The Manchester-based firm will use the six-figure invoice finance facility to strengthen its cashflow, build upon recent blue chip client wins and, ultimately, drive its growth strategy.

The company, which employs a team of 50 across its Manchester base and additional offices in Edinburgh and Reading, includes multinational retail group Arcadia and Manchester United among its clients.

Winsulate’s managing director, Brent Wardle, said: “Recent months have seen rapid growth as we have increased our client base to cover many of the largest names in the UK.”

Speaking further, Brent said he believes the firm is now in a position to provide its services on a national scale.

He continued: “To ensure this growth is sustainable, we required a creative and flexible finance offering. Secure Trust Bank seemed the obvious choice for us, and we’re confident that with their backing, Winsulate can continue its upward trajectory this year.”

Winsulate operates across a number of sectors, including retail, construction, healthcare and emergency services.

Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance’s Manchester-based regional sales director, Matthew White, said: “We were really impressed with Winsulate’s performance over the last few years, and saw the potential of the business. The firm has won some impressive clients this year, and needed the financial support to match the demand from customers.

“Winsulate is a prime example of why it is important to support SMEs, as these ambitious companies can really thrive if they receive vital funding that can accommodate future growth.”

David Holland, a partner at accountancy firm Cowgill Holloway’s finance director advisory service, myFDadvisor, acted as an introducer on the deal.
