Vernacare wins Medilink North West Export Achievement Award

Vernacare has been recognised by the Medilink North West Awards for its export success as a global supplier of infection prevention products.

For the second year running, the Bolton-based company has won the UKTI NW Export Achievement Award category. Vernacare will now go forward to compete against the UK’s best exporters of medical products in the Medilink UK Awards final this April.

The single-use ‘Vernacare System’ of hygienic patient toileting and washing is used across healthcare facilities in 48 countries to reduce infection, save nurses’ time, improve environmental performance, save energy and reduce costs. It is the only single-use toileting system of its kind and is accepted as the global gold standard for human waste management.

The Medilink Awards, supported by the company HGF, celebrate the achievements of Healthcare Technology and related Life Sciences companies from across the North West.
