Business Central Darlington welcomes independent engineering tenant
Independent engineering company Ardmore Craig has taken office space at Business Central Darlington.
Expanding to Darlington’s Central Park Enterprise Zone, the business believes the move will help it to expand into new markets.
Operating in offshore oil, gas and renewables, the firm is also beginning to develop its own specialist produce.
Andy Stevenson, director, said: “While continuing to service the needs of our client base we are also starting to develop some of our own products, including an adjustable modular reel which previously won a UKTI export award.
“We are continuing to explore other sectors including marine, rail and structural work and we have started to sell prototyping and animation services through the Copeland Clyde brand.
“We looked at several locations but Business Central simply stood out as the best. It’s a bright spacious high specification new build office block in the centre of Darlington. Not to mention the close proximity to the main coast line.
“From our new base we are looking to build numbers again as we develop into different areas and being here at the centre allows us the flexibility to take on further office space as and when needed.”
Vanessa Wood, centre manager, added: “It is wonderful that ahead of our first birthday we welcome Andy and his team to our centre.
“The building now has such a diverse range of sectors serving Darlington from marketing, engineering to property agents, Business Central really is where it is at!”
