PKF Cooper Parry Appointed Administrators by Motorbike Dealership
Midlands-based restructuring specialists PKF Cooper Parry have been appointed administrators for well-known motorbike dealership Bikers Motorcycles Ltd.
Tyrone Courtman and Lee Brocklehurst have been appointed as joint administrators to the dealership, following increasing pressures on the company’s working capital facility.
The family owned business, which has been trading for 15 years, with showrooms in Swadlincote and Clay Cross, was an award-winning Kawasaki dealership.
The business sells used motorcycles, stocks parts and accessories and carries out servicing and repairs.
Trading will continue and the administrators are working hard to minimise job losses within the company.
Tyrone Courtman says they are confident they will find a buyer for the company’s business and assets.
“Bikers Motorcycles is an award-winning local company with a team of trained and dedicated staff.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to purchase a business which has fallen on hard times, but has continued to provide wonderful services to the large biking community in the region.
“We are have already received several expressions of interest in the business which we are currently pursuing.”
PKF Cooper Parry is one of the largest independent firms of business advisers in the Midlands with an established track record of helping local businesses and private clients in the UK and internationally.
The firm acts for more locally owned private businesses in the Midlands with a turnover in excess of £5 million than any other accounting, tax and advisory firm.
It recently merged with established West Midlands firm Clement Keys to create a business with a combined revenue of £30 million and a 350 strong team across its two offices in the East and West Midlands.
The administrators are seeking interest from potential buyers and any parties that would like to know more are urged to contact either Tyrone Courtman or Lee Brocklehurst on 01332 411163.
